Shih Tzu puppy training
Shih Tzu breeders keep puppies until about 12 weeks, so yours may arrive partly house- and leash-trained, and the first job is to keep that going rather than start over. These guides cover the first week home as a training plan, with the crate right beside your bed, handling and brushing from day one and a schedule in place of free run of the home. They then follow the puppy through the months when accidents and excitability return, around 5 to 7 months, and on toward the calm that many owners only see at 1.5 to 2 years. Done well, those months leave you with a ritual-loving companion who settles, sits for a brush and trusts your hands.
